Do I need to give GrowDM my Instagram password?
No — GrowDM never asks for your Instagram password. It connects through Meta's official Graph API, the same API Meta itself recommends for partner integrations, via a one-click OAuth login. No password sharing, no scraping, no shadow login. We respect Meta's 200 DM/hour rate limit and 24-hour messaging window automatically.
Will Instagram automation get my account banned?
No, when used as designed. Because GrowDM is built on Meta's official Graph API and respects every rate limit and policy, accounts using GrowDM are not at risk of bans tied to automation. Always avoid spammy keyword setups and you'll be safe.
What Instagram account types does GrowDM support?
Instagram Business and Instagram Professional (Creator) accounts — both fully supported via Meta OAuth. Personal accounts are not supported: Meta's Graph API only works with Business/Professional accounts, but switching from a Personal account takes about 30 seconds inside the Instagram app.
Where is my data stored?
GrowDM is hosted in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1). All access tokens are encrypted at rest. Lead data lives in your account only. We are SOC 2 Type II in progress and DPDP-compliant.
